My wife and I started this group to meet other people who share our love of wine and great food in that order! This group is open to couples and singles who love great wine and food, but the focus here is wine, food, and friendship with a lot of fun. Meetups will include wine tastings, wine pairings, restaurant nights, and perhaps an occasional visit to Long Island Vineyards. We aim to create a group where you can taste and learn about new wine without any stress or snobbery.

Westchester Wine Enthusiasts is an amateur wine tasting association that endeavors to create a fun and educational environment absent of wine snobbery and collectors' one-upmanship.  Although we have sommeliers, distributors, and vendors participate, we do so simply for the love of wine. Let's explore the many ways to discover and enjoy wines: There will be tastings either conducted by wine professionals or those we plan ourselves - at restaurants, wine bars or members' homes in Westchester and Fairfield County. We also plan to attend wine and food festivals, classes focusing on different varietals, visit local vineyards, and host special dinners where different wine and food pairings can be considered.

Clearly designed for the sit, chill and sip crowd who enjoy flair to their surroundings, we will start with meeting at finer establishments and watering holes going to local vineyards and wine-tastings. Our last meet-up was a great revival of East End Wine Lovers! Thanks to all the members who attended with wine in hand!
