28 February 2012 We have recently made the difficult decision to close down Butterfly Social Events, so we will no longer be running the club, nor hosting any social events.  We are currently in the process of advising all of our contacts about this news, as well as adjusting the website. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for supporting our events over the last 18 months; we have enjoyed your company.     

Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all. Cooking is a great social skill - it imbues those who master it with a degree of confidence and delight in being able to impress, feed and entertain in equal measure. With this in mind we aim to make our meetups relaxed, social occasions. As well as learning how to cook new and exciting dishes, we will create a circle of new friends with a common purpose - the desire to prepare and share great food.
